Born in 1964, Atul Bhalla completed his bachelor’s in fine arts from the College of Art, University of Delhi, and his master’s in fine arts from the School of Art, Northern Illinois University, USA. He is presently a professor of visual art at Shiv Nadar University in India.
He has had several solo shows, including Vadehra Art Gallery, New Delhi (2018, 2015, 2011);Art Museum, USA (2016, 2011); the Accademia Filarmonica Romana, Rome (2016); SepiaEYE, New York (2015); Grossman Gallery, Lafayette College, Philadelphia (2011); Project 88, Mumbai (2009); and Aicon Gallery, London (2008), among others.
