Sindh Department of Health, The Ministry of Public Health of Government of Sindh is responsible of public health inSindh, Pakistan. The Health Department of the Ministry of Public Health is a standard body for providing public health, Medical education, training and employment in the Sindh.

Abassi Saheed Hospital, The Abbassi Shaheed Hospital proudly places itself among Pakistan’s most prestigious hospitals. Located in one of the most populous neighborhoods in Karachi, it is also the third largest public sector hospital that comes under the umbrella of the City Government of Karachi. With a total cost of 2.5 crores at the time of completion, the hospital was inaugurated on 2nd technologically advanced and equipped hospital at that time, and has brilliantly evolved along with the changing demands of the modern medical and healthcare.

Karachi Civil Hospital, Karachi Civil Hospital is a 1,900-bed tertiary care public hospital that imparts both undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and training. It is one of the teaching hospitals affiliated with the Dow Medical College now the Dow University of Health Sciences. Civil Hospital Karachi is arguably the largest teaching hospital of Pakistan, catering not only to all areas of the province of Sindh but also the neighboring province of Balochistan as well.
