Aparna Krishnamurthy is the Communications and Outreach Manager at the Lakshmi Mittal and Family South Asia Institute at Harvard University, where she leads communications strategy, audience engagement, and outreach for the Institute’s research, programs, and events. She oversees the Institute’s website, newsletter, and social media platforms, and works closely with faculty, students, and collaborators across Harvard to develop stories and content that amplify the Institute’s work and impact.
Prior to joining Harvard, Aparna served as Director of Global Development Operations at Teach For All and worked across international development and education at the World Bank, the New York City Department of Education, and the American India Foundation.
Aparna holds a master’s degree in mathematics from the University of Delhi and a master’s in public affairs from Princeton University.
