Dhara is a visual artist based out of Bangalore and holds a M.F.A in Painting from College of Art, Delhi University, India. She is the recipient of The Swapan Biswas Award for Academic Excellence and the Junior Fellowship Award from the Ministry of Culture, Government of India. She was also awarded the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (NCBS) fellowship along with an exhibition in Bangalore, and is part of the Facebook / Meta Artist In Residence (AIR) project in Hyderabad. Dhara’s work has been selected for exhibitions including the India Art Fair in New Delhi, Aicon Contemporary New York, The Anant Art New Delhi and has showcased her work at The Gulf Art Fair Dubai, ‘Museum Of Sacred Arts’ (MOSA) Belgium, Madrid (Spain) ‘The China Art Museum’ (Shanghai) and the University of California.
