Garima Agarwal is a Master’s in Public Policy candidate at the Harvard Kennedy School and a Visiting Research Fellow at the United Nations University Operating Unit on Electronic Governance (UNU-EGOV), supported by the Women and Public Policy Program’s Cultural Bridge Fellowship. Her research interests lie at the intersection of urban development, gender, and the future of work, with a focus on advancing women’s economic mobility in India.
At UNU-EGOV, Garima’s research examines how digital public infrastructure can function as labour market infrastructure for women in informal work in India. Previously, she worked with the Inclusive Cities Centre at the National Institute of Urban Affairs, under India’s Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs. She holds a Bachelor of Architecture from the School of Planning and Architecture, Bhopal.
