John David Wagner is a designer working at the convergence of public space, environmental design, and human rights. Spanning from digital technologies to indigenous craft, John has engaged in design projects spanning from North America, Europe, and South Asia.

John received a Masters in Architecture, with Distinction, from the Harvard Graduate School of Design, and was an Irving Innovation Fellow at the GSD. John is currently co-coordinating a pre-college design studio at Wentworth Institute of Technology. He is also a Research Fellow at Lakshmi Mittal and Family South Asia Institute, where his research focuses on architectural practice that challenges the politics of spatial production in informal contexts.

He has been published by the CCA Singapore, Durty Words! Piquent Press, and Open Letters Harvard GSD.
