Lucinda Ramberg
Assistant Professor of Anthropology and Feminist, Gender, and Sexuality Studies at Cornell University
Ramberg's academic focus includes: medical anthropology; religion and secularism; feminist, queer and postcolonial theory and South Asia. Ramberg served as assistant professor at University of Kentucky’s Department of Gender and Women’s Studies from 2007 to 2011. She also served as visiting assistant professor at the Harvard Divinity School Women’s Studies in Religion Program from 2009 to 2010. She was a Mellon Postdoctoral Fellow at Cornell University in feminist, gender and sexuality studies from 2006 to 2007. Ramberg received her A.B. in English Literature from Bryn Mawr College, her M.A. in theology from Union Theological Seminary and her Ph.D. in medical anthropology from University of California-Berkeley.
