Palak is an architect from India, and a post-professional graduate student at Harvard Graduate School of Design. Since her undergraduate studies at the Mumbai University, she has been involved, both academically and professionally in pedagogical and research conversations involving the communities vulnerable to the impacts of climate change and urbanization. With a multi-disciplinary background, working and learning across India, on every project, she has found herself committed to engaging with both, public and private clients on social, environmental, and financial problems through collaboration, advocacy, participatory planning and designing innovative solutions.
Intrigued by current local and global issues of sustainability, climate change and resilience, Palak is actively engaged in partaking in meaningful discourse with informed and conscious individuals working for social and environmental justice and exploring opportunities to continue a path of research by engaging with minority communities affected by the impacts of climate change across the globe.
