Pradish Poudel, MD, is a primary care physician and social entrepreneur and has been actively involved in championing Health Equity Justice since 2017. He is dedicated to nurturing socially responsible leaders and transforming the healthcare system to achieve health for all. Dr. Poudel is pursuing an MSc in Global Health Delivery at Harvard Medical School and has worked as a Student Engagement Advisor for Harvard Global Health Institute. He is the founder of Nepal Health Corps (NHC), where he has played a key role in positioning it as a leading network of young healthcare professionals working towards Universal Health Coverage (UHC) by 2030 in both rural and urban communities across Nepal. He has been recognized with the Charles Boelen International Social Accountability Award (AFMC Canada, 2021) and the Leaving No One Behind: Real Life Hero Award (2030 Youth Force Asia Pacific, 2022). His diverse experience includes serving as the Asia Pacific Regional Director of IDEAS For Us, as the former CEO of Danphe Care, and by contributing expertise to the board of the seven international organizations in the United States, South Asia, West Africa, and East Africa.
