Sarah Shaukat is a third-year PhD student in the economics and public policy program at Tufts University. She also holds an M.Sc. in Economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) and a B.Sc. (Hons.) in Economics from the Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) in Pakistan. Prior to starting her PhD, she worked at the Centre for Economic Research in Pakistan (CERP) on a poverty alleviation program that used randomized control trials to understand the impact of skills development on the economic inclusion of rural men and women in the country. Her research interests lie at the intersection of development, behavioral, and labor economics.
