Stefan Simon is the Director of the Rathgen-Forschungslabor, Staatliche Museen (National Museums) Berlin. Simon’s work is dedicated to advancing heritage science in a sustainable manner. He is also a leading voice in the international “culture in crisis,” and the green museum debate in the light of global (climate) change.
His research has focused on the development of analytical technologies, questions of conservation documentation and access in the digital age, and the study of authenticity questions.
