Research Grants
As a result of COVID-19, Harvard University has provided guidance for Harvard travelers, including travel related to student grants. You can find details on the University travel policy here; please note public health considerations are subject to change and be sure to stay up-to-date on changing travel requirements and policies at your destination. Please ensure that your proposal details how your project abides by the Harvard’s travel policies. Additionally, for the winter session, LMSAI will also consider virtual grant proposals. If you have any questions, please contact Selmon Rafey, Program Manager, at srafey@fas.harvard.edu.
Research grants are awarded to students pursuing research on specific topics that could contribute to a thesis or dissertation or if the applicant has done preliminary work on the topic. Individual independent research will be considered if the above requirements are fulfilled. Summer research should be around8 weeks.
