How does Asia respond to Russia’s war on Ukraine? And what are the implications for Asian security and stability? While Japan and South Korea have sided with the West and supported Ukraine, China, and North Korea are deepening ties with Russia. China’s strategic alignment with Russia and the growing tensions in the Taiwan Strait heighten the fears over a military escalation. India, as well as several Southeast Asian countries, have not condemned the war. The speakers will discuss security implications for the Asian order and Asia’s responses to the war.
