Join us for a webinar on “Language, Culture, and Media: South Asian Perspectives,” that will bring together voices from across South Asia to explore how film, literature, and popular media can deepen language learning and cultural engagement.
In a region shaped by layered multilingualism and vibrant artistic traditions, cinema, storytelling, music, and digital platforms offer powerful entry points into language as lived experience rather than abstract system. Drawing on examples from the region, the discussion will consider how educators and cultural practitioners are using content to create immersive, context-rich learning environments. The conversation will foreground both pedagogical innovation and cultural practice, highlighting how cross-border artistic exchange and regional media ecosystems can inform more inclusive, dynamic approaches to language education within South Asia and in global classrooms.
