Sneha Shrestha is the Arts Program Manager at the Mittal Institute. She manages the Visiting Artist Fellowship and the Distinguished Artist Fellowship and provides support for their work.
Sneha, a native of Nepal, is a graduate of the Harvard Graduate School of Education with a focus on leadership in education and creative technology. She established Nepal’s first Children’s Art Museum to provide a creative space where children and youth can develop 21st century skills through project based art experiences.
Sneha is also a visual artist and uses her native language in her paintings and murals. She has shown her meditative works in several exhibitions, commissioned works and public walls around the world from Kathmandu to Boston. She has also shown work at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. Her newest work is a sculptural piece commissioned by the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum currently on view. She was recognized by WBUR as one of the 25 millennial artists of color impacting Boston.
