Kattumaram (catamaran) follows the story of Singaram and his niece Ananthi as their lives are changed by the arrival of Kavitha, a film instructor who comes to teach at their local school. Set in a coastal village in Tamil Nadu post-2004 tsunami, Kattumaram is a beautifully-filmed exploration of love in the context of natural and societal change.
