Yousuf Saeed, Independent Researcher and Filmmaker Based in Delhi, India

Yousuf Saeed reads and illustrates from his new book Muslim Devotional Art in India. The presentation will conclude with a musical video “The Train to Heaven” produced by the author. Yousuf Saeed is an independent filmmaker, archivist and author, having produced several well known documentary films such as Khayal Darpan, Basant, Jannat ki Rail and Qasba Sanskriti. He is also the director of Tasveer Ghar, a digital archive of Indian popular visual culture.
