About the Visiting Artist Fellows:

Parul Gupta’s works are based on her interest in architectural phenomenology and movement in architecture where our bodies and movements are in endless dialogues with our buildings. She brings the viewer’s attention to subtle shifts and movements constantly at play in architecture through perceptual, cognitive, and scientific inquiries. Gupta lives and works in the Delhi National Capital Region, India. She studied for an MA in Fine Art at Nottingham Trent University, UK in 2011.

Masuma Halai Khwaja’s artworks investigate pivotal points in recent South Asian history. Countering state-fed narratives and textbook versions of history, her works address the impact of unrest and mass migrations on dress codes, languages, religion, and mindsets. She graduated with distinction from the National College of Arts (NCA) in Lahore, Pakistan, and has showcased her work at five solo exhibitions in Pakistan and numerous curated group shows across the globe

Abir Abdullah is a Bangladeshi photographer and educator known for his impactful work on climate change and human resilience. He holds a Master’s in Marketing from Dhaka University. Abir’s career highlights include working as a Staff Photographer at Drik Picture Library, and Photojournalist for the European Pressphoto Agency.
