Thomas is the Programs and Administrative Coordinator at the Lakshmi Mittal and Family South Asia Institute and oversees and facilitates many of the Institute’s fellowship and associate programs. These fellowships include the Raghunathan Family FellowshipJamnalal Kaniram Bajaj Visiting Research Fellowship, and the Babar Ali Fellowship. He consults with the Visiting Artist Program and with the India office team on the Mittal Institute India Fellowship (MIIF). Thomas also works closely with center associates and Graduate School associates and builds cross-center relationships and collaborations. Lastly, he serves as the primary office administrator.

Thomas graduated with a BA in History from Harvard College in 2019, focusing on American politics and national identity during the Cold War. Expanding on his personal international travel experience, he also took part in several study abroad programs in college, going to Germany, Greece, and China. Prior to joining the Mittal Institute, Thomas was a Peace Corps Volunteer in Cambodia, where he worked as an English teacher until the COVID-19 pandemic cut his service short. Now back in Cambridge, Thomas is excited to return to Harvard campus.
