Please join us for Infrastructure in a Time of Flux: Methods, Conditions, and Situations, a two-day symposium at the Harvard Graduate School of Design exploring how infrastructure, architecture, and urban systems respond to changing environmental, political, and social conditions.

The symposium brings together scholars, designers, and practitioners for a series of lectures and conversations examining the ways infrastructure shapes communities and responds to conditions of uncertainty and change.

As part of the symposium, the Mittal Institute organized panel – Kumbh Mela – Reflections on an Interdisciplinary Project, on Friday, November 13, from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m., will examine the Kumbh Mela as an interdisciplinary case study in temporary urbanism, infrastructure, and the creation of a temporary sacred city.
