This exhibition features two artists from Pakistan and India, who reflect on the impact of The 1947 Partition of British India in their works. Mahboob Jokhio and Krupa Makhija explore the interplay between culture, language, and identity through a deeply personal lens.
Mahboob’s images reflect on the Pakistani education system and collective realities of the children it has failed, while Krupa’s multimedia work explores the disappearance of the Sindh language and ethnicity in India.
Join us for the opening reception to see their artwork and meet the artists.
