Crossroads Emerging Leaders Program

Transforming the lives of low-income, first-in-family to college students.

Your Crossroads Journey Begins with HarvardX

edX is partnering with the Crossroads Emerging Leaders Program to provide access to HarvardX courses and certificates to low-income, first-in-family to college students. All qualifying Crossroads students will be able to audit all 5 Crossroads courses hosted on edX. You can upgrade for free in one of the courses to pursue the HarvardX certificate

Below you will find descriptions of the five courses curated for you. Please note information about time requirements, mobile accessibility, and language options. Each course is self-paced. These courses are mobile-friendly! We recommend you enroll and participate in the courses from your mobile browser.

Please make sure you do not pay for any of the courses. You will receive an email from edX containing a unique code for your fully-funded HarvardX certificate. Please carefully follow instructions shared by the Crossroads team to use your unique code. The code will only work once, so please review the courses carefully before making your selection.

In order to move onto the next stage of the Crossroads Emerging Leaders Program, you must earn a certificate in one course by April 30, 2021. The Crossroads team will reach out to you with further details.

How it Works

  1. Read the instructions sent by Crossroads before proceeding.
  2. Learn about the 5 courses below to determine which course you would like to earn your certificate in.
  3. You will receive an enrollment code via email from the Crossroads team. Input this code on the left-hand side of the payment screen and click ‘Apply Code’.
  4. Successfully complete your course/program and receive your certificate!
