Ent240491Congratulations to  Karim R. Lakhani, Professor of Business Administration at Harvard Business School, for his invitation to serve on the advisory board of Suleman Dawood School of Business, the oldest of the four schools at Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS)

LUMS and SAI have recently signed an MoU to make LUMS a substantive partner in Harvard-SAI’s activities in Pakistan. Eminent scholars from Harvard Business School, as well as from IMD and Ivey School of Business played a key role in the establishment of the flagship 2-year full-time LUMS MBA program launched in 1986.

Today the Suleman Dawood School of Business has more than 60 full-time faculty members and offers a full suite of academic programs including a Bachelor of Science in Accounting & Finance, Bachelor of Science in Management Sciences, MBA, Executive MBA and a PhD in the specialized fields of finance, operations and organizational behavior. In the past 3 decades, LUMS itself has evolved to become a comprehensive University with four schools: Business; Humanities and Social Sciences; Science & Engineering; and Law. Its graduates across all disciplines are highly sought after and employers recognize the high potential of LUMS students.

Close interface with business and industry though executive education programs and consulting is the hallmark of SDSB faculty. The program rigor and reputation of its graduates have contributed to building a distinct brand name for the MBA program within and outside of Pakistan. The high quality of programs at SDSB have been widely recognized both at national and international level.
