The Harvard College Pakistani Student Association invites you to join us for a wonderful evening of music by humanitarian and rocker, Todd Shea, as well as Harvard College’s very own, Sangeet!
Todd Shea arrived in Pakistan after the devastating earthquake of 2005. He has stayed there since and has established a budding healthcare system in the beautiful Swat Valley of Pakistan. Start off your weekend with amazing music from South Asia, while helping support the healthcare system in Nobel Peace Prize nominee, Malala Yousafzai’s, hometown.
Pianist, percussion guitarist, versatile musician, independent movie director and TED Fellow – Usman Riaz is Pakistan’s resident musical genius. As an up-and-coming artist, he had represented Pakistan on many an international stage, with his impressive TED Talk in Ediburgh (http://fellows.ted.com/profiles/usman-riaz) and his Honorable Mention-winning independent film. Come hear this self-taught artiste pour out his soul and hear one of the untold stories of Pakistan firsthand!
Help Todd, Usman, and HCPSA revolutionize healthcare for this rural area of Pakistan, while having fun at the same time!
Friday, November 8 7:00 PM at SOCH 104
