The Harvard India Student Group (HISG) wishes you a very happy and prosperous Diwali and invites everyone to celebrate the festival of lights in grand style at the Harvard-wide Diwali Night 2013 on November 10, 2013 (Veteran’s Day weekend). For the very first time, HISG is bringing together all schools at Harvard for a university-wide Diwali celebration you wouldn’t want to miss.

The event is being co-sponsored by the South Asia Caucus at HKS, the South Asia Business Association at HBS, India GSD, the South Asian Students Organization at HSPH, the Harvard South Asian Law Students Association, and the Harvard Graduate Council, and is made possible with the generous support of the South Asia Institute at Harvard, the Asia Center at Harvard and the Harvard Graduate Commons Program.

When : Sunday, November 10th, 2013. 7.30 pm to 1.00 am (P.S. The next day is a national holiday!)

Programming: Get ready for a memorable night of delicious Indian food, fun cultural performances, and a Bollywood dance party, with friends old and new.

–          7:30 pm: Doors open, *Dinner (Indian meal) starts*

–          8:30-9:30 pm: *Cultural performances* including Bollywood dance performances, Hindi rock music, instrumental jugalbandi, A Capella by Harvard Mirch, and Bhangra performance

–          9:30 pm-1.00 am: Bollywood-themed dance party

–          Cash bar will be accessible on showing valid proof of age
